Ways to Create a Coastal Decor Vibe in Your Home

Some of my blue and white framed coastal inspired paintings in my home.

Classic Coastal Style

My last blogpost talked all about my personal artistic style of using mostly blues and whites. I wanted to convey some ways to incorporate this classic color palette into your own home. For my personal style I am very inspired by neutral paint colors (all of our walls are painted Campfire Ash by Behr), lots of white, fresh greens, natural textures and splashes of blues and whites. Here are some examples of ways I have incorporated this coastal style into my home. You can see that I am obsessed with fresh flowers, ginger jars, books and baskets. Finding objects that you love and bring you joy are the best accessories for your home ( in my opinion!)

I love books and ginger jars to decorate with!

You can’t go wrong with stripes, ginger jars, peonies and baskets!

Sailboats and Hydrangeas are my favorite subjects and look great in a coastal inspired home.

Large statement paintings are awesome to decorate with.

Even in my porch I have carried the neutral palette plus blue and whites!

A home should be a place where you feel peace and joy in. As I have gotten older and have collected items throughout the years, I feel like my style is finally coming together. I personally want my home to make me feel happy, peaceful and calm. I want it to bring memories of summer and joyful times I have experienced at our lake house. I hope some of these images gave you ideas on ways you can decorate with a coastal vibe. I would love to know in the comments what some of your favorite decor pieces are. Have a great week!
