Well happy 2024! I know it is almost the end of January but I have not had a chance to write a blog post in awhile. Life is busy, busy, busy! Today we had an ice day so no school for my girls and I. So perfect since I have a huge release of 48 paintings to work on by April (more about that soon!) I also have a really fun release I am doing on Dress the Room Charleston for this Thursday January 25th at noon.

I will be releasing 15 of my January daily paintings! I have never done this before but I am excited to see how it goes. If you have been here for a while you know that I am a daily painter and I have been doing this since January 2017. Read here for a blog post I wrote about my daily painting practice. Each daily painting is an original acrylic painting measuring 5 x 7 inches on watercolor paper. Each painting will come matted in a white 8 x 10 mat that makes framing a breeze.

Each painting is inspired by my travels and life on an island in the middle of Lake Erie. Lots of coastal birds, landscapes, hydrangeas and vintage bikes. I cannot wait to share these with you. I will continue to paint on the 5 x 7 papers for my daily painting practice this year. Stay tuned for more paintings!
