New Series: Sea Glass Waters
Happy Sunday friends! I hope you had a great week and restful weekend. This week I have worked really hard trying to get this new series finished for my release for March 30th on Dresstheroom.com. It may seem like I have a lot of time to work on these paintings but I am leaving for a week long vacation next Friday so there is NO time at all! So much packing to do still and getting things wrapped up at school. I know it will all work out, just have to work really hard to get it all done.
One way I have been getting work done is waking up early each day and spending at least 30-40 minutes on my paintings before I go to work. Breaking it up into these small increments has helped a ton and I highly recommend it if you need to get a huge task accomplished.
Here are some of my paintings I am working on. I call it the “Sea Glass Waters” series because the water reminded me of the colors of sea glass I like to collect along the shore each summer. The pinks, turquoise, mint greens and deep blues are some of my absolute favorite colors. I also included some of my favorite pattern and mark making in the waters to showcase my love of pattern and design.
I hope you like these series and check them out on March 30th!
